Hitoshi Saito
Introduction
Dr. Saito has over 30 years experience in the laboratory equipment, analytical instrument, bio-medical instrument, and clinical diagnostics instrument industries.
He joined Leverage LLP in July 2012 to focus on executive search, after successfully completing a 6-year tenure as the Japanese President of Thermo Fisher Japan K.K., where he managed 600 employees generating approximately $450M in annual revenue.
Prior to Thermo Fisher, Dr. Saito was Director, Board Member, and Senior Vice President at Beckman Coulter K.K., where he managed a 90 employee division that generated approximately 9BJPY in annual revenue. Earlier in his career, he worked at Tosoh Corporation and Mitsubishi Chemical Medience Corporation in Japan and the U.S., in both commercial and R&D roles.
He has a Ph.D. in Advanced Molecular Chemistry from the Graduate School of Bio Engineering at Nihon University and a B.S. in Chemistry from the Tokyo University of Science. He is fully fluent in English and Japanese.
